About the Role:
We are seeking a highly strategic and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to lead our finance operations within the dynamic energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, impeccable banking and audit skills, and complete end-to-end financial management expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including month-end and
year-end closing processes, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Liaise with external auditors, handle and oversee all financial audits up to finalization.
· Manage banking operations, treasury functions, and expertly handle Letters of Credit (LCs), guarantees, and trade finance.
· Manage VAT, CT and other compliance requirements.
· Prepare and analyze financial forecasts, annual budgets, and cash flow projections to support business decisions.
· Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
· Ensure full compliance with all local UAE financial regulations.

Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a strong background in the related industry.
Education: Professional accounting designation such as ACCA, CA (Chartered Accountant), CPA, or CMA.
Skills: Exceptional knowledge of Letters of Credit (LCs), banking relationships, and corporate treasury.
Proven ability to drive audits to finalization and establish strong internal controls.
Experience in managing accounting operations for multiple SME companies.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in IT/ERP systems and financial reporting.
