Crescent Engineering Featured in EIC’s Survive & Thrive IX for Carbon Capture Success

Crescent Engineering has been recognised in the latest edition of EIC’s Survive & Thrive IX for its engineering expertise and contribution to the energy transition, with a spotlight on the company’s role in delivering a pioneering carbon capture project.

The publication highlights Crescent’s partnership with Carbon Clean and GasTech Engineering to design, engineer, and supply a first-of-its-kind 10-tonne-per-day Carbon Capture skid for ADNOC. Originally destined for the UK, the modular skid was re-engineered mid-project to meet ADNOC’s requirements in Abu Dhabi, all while meeting strict timelines ahead of COP 28. The project was successfully delivered without any lost time incidents, and the technology went on to receive multiple awards during COP 28, featuring prominently on ADNOC’s stand at ADIPEC 2023 and 2024.

The EIC feature also recognised Crescent’s rapid growth, noting how the company has tripled its workforce and significantly expanded its revenues since the project. Its flexibility, collaborative approach, and specialised engineering capabilities have helped establish Crescent as a trusted partner for both traditional oil and gas projects and emerging carbon capture technologies.

Crescent Engineering continues to focus on process equipment supply and system integration across oil and gas, water treatment, and carbon capture markets. This recognition from EIC underscores the company’s commitment to supporting clients in achieving operational excellence and sustainability goals.
