Project Scope : Engineering, Design, Procurement, fabrication, Site Installation & Commissioning Assistance of 10TPD Demo Carbon Capture unit
Consisting of Modularised units consisting of 7 main skids, 2 main vessels
Crescent Engineering FZE, in collaboration with its partner GasTech Engineering LLC, oversaw the comprehensive engineering, design, procurement, testing, and delivery of an innovative 10 TPD compact and fully modular Carbon Capture package.
This three-year initiative, which began in 2021 with the initial concept design, progressed through detailed engineering, process design, material sourcing, and manufacturing, culminating in successful completion and commissioning in the UAE at the start of 2024.
Carbon Clean UK enlisted the company to develop the next-generation concept of compact and efficient carbon capture, converting the original design into a practical solution.
The complete package was produced in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and received certification for UKCA and CE marking requirements.
Designed to function as a demonstration model for global deployment, the unit is capable of operating under a range of conditions, from temperatures exceeding 50°C in the UAE to extreme cold environments as low as -40°C.
It is fully outfitted with heat tracing and heating systems, along with cooling systems, to guarantee optimal performance across various settings.
The modular package also features a fully containerized control room, specifically designed to operate and manage the entire plant during its operational activities.
In addition to the control room, the package incorporates several analyzers that monitor various process components, ensuring comprehensive data capture at all times throughout the plant.
The Cyclone CC represents a groundbreaking, cost-effective, and space-efficient solution. Featuring a ‘Lego-block’, ‘plug-and-play’ modular design, it allows small to midsize industrial emitters to stagger their investments in carbon capture.
Location: Mobile package , with 6-8 months long demonstration campaigns at each host sites in Middle East , Europe etc
