Technical insights and hands-on training in fired heater systems support Crescent’s commitment to engineering excellence
Julian Hill, General Manager of Crescent Engineering, recently attended the 2025 THM Heater School held in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 23–24. The intensive two-day seminar provided valuable insights into fired heater design, operational best practices, and burner management systems.
Combining 12 hours of classroom-based technical instruction with 4 hours of guided shop visits to local heater component manufacturers, the program offered a comprehensive perspective on both the process and mechanical aspects of fired heaters. Attendees also benefited from practical training on a dedicated BMS simulator and the chance to experience local Tulsa culture.
